The sun was setting and Anthony Armstrong jogged off from his first NFL practice. It was raining, so he stepped under cover and just stared onto the hundreds of yards of open space, the Dolphins’ practice fields.

This feeling of unlimited space, away from the walls of the Arena League, was rare for him.

Dolphins longshot Anthony Armstrong looks to catch on in new arena

DAVIE - The sun was setting and Anthony Armstrong jogged off from his first NFL practice.

It was raining, so he stepped under cover and just stared onto the hundreds of yards of open space on the practice fields.

This feeling of unlimited space, away from the walls of the Arena Football League, was rare for him.

"Right now," he said, "things are as wide open as that field out there."
