LOS ANGELES - As far as actual news regarding Tom Gordon's plans, there was little fresh to report yesterday. The Phillies still don't plan on having the veteran righthander back this season, and they won't have a concrete idea of his long-term prognosis for at least another 3 weeks. But head athletic trainer Scott Sheridan did provide some insight into what exactly has cut Gordon's season short.
