AFL’ers Look to Make the Cut

Life is all about opportunity.

This summer, close to a dozen current AFL players are in NFL training camps fighting for roster spots.

Each year a number of Arena Football League players get a chance to showcase their skills on the 100-yard field with the hopes of snagging a coveted place on an NFL roster.

Training camp rosters started with 80 players and were trimmed down to 75 on Tuesday. (Note: NFL clubs must cut down to the mandatory 53-man active roster by Saturday, August 23)
