The New Orleans VooDoo has announced the re-signing of the following players from the 2008 season to return to the club for the 2009 campaign: DL Henry Bryant, LB Norman LeJeune, FB James Lynch, OL/DL Kevin McAlmont, DB Lin-J Shell and DL Michale Spicer.

Bryant (6-0, 250, Kansas State) returns to the VooDoo for his third season. In 2008, he enjoyed his finest season as he made 24 tackles, five sacks6.5 tackles for a loss, two passes defensed, two forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries. Ranking 16th in the league in quarterback takedowns, the four-year veteran set career-highs in most statistical categories. Based on his commitment to the community off the field, he was also named to the league’s Al Lucas team.
